The seminars occur on a bi-weekly basis, and occur on either a Saturday morning or Tuesday evening. These seminars are hosted by Dr. Marie-Eve Gagne, Professional Nutritionist and former rocket scientist.

Only 11 days until our inaugural Deadlift Competition on November 25 from 2-5pm! All 24 competitors spots have been filled, but you can still come down and be a part of the action!

Advanced tickets to the event can be purchased online for $6 in the link below! This includes a Picnic Coffee and Yonni's Donut. All money raised will be used for our GHD fund and donations to Oak Bay Firefighters Charitable Foundation! Fuel SVN Victoria will also be there with supplement samples for all spectators and competitors.

To sign-up for the Deadlift Competition, follow these instructions!

The easiest way is to sign-up in person at the front desk! If you are a non-member, this only way to sign-up.

Online sign-up instructions:

Step 1: Ensure that you have a membership! The competition is open to members for $32.50. Non-member price is $42 payable at the front desk.

Follow this link to get a month-to-month membership!

Step 2: Go to "Classes" on the Forge webpage

If you refer a friend who joins the Forge Community as a month-to-month member, we want to thank you by giving both you and your friend the NEXT MONTH of your membership for $30.

To refer a friend, have them sign-up through our member portal, and select your name under the "referred by" section

The fine print

  • Limit (1) one credit per month per member i.e. only 1 “$30 month” credit will be applied to any given month i.e. 2 (two) “30 month” credits can not be applied to a single monthIf more than (1) one referral occurs within a given month, will be stored as credit on the member’s account for following months and applied sequentially
  • Discount will be applied to the FOLLOWING month as a credit after the referral
  • Referring member's name must be used when signing up friend for BOTH MEMBERS TO RECEIVE DISCOUNT
  • Referring member must be a current member of Forge Training
  • Only valid for Unlimited Monthly Memberships (Student and Family included, 2 month minimum)
  • Student Membership referrals receive a "$30 month” credit
  • Family Membership referrals receive a credit of $31.95 towards their account for an after tax total of $73.05 per month after referral

Brandon Williams

When Brandon started working with Trainer Courtney Bates in March, she was new to gyms in general - she had an ambitious goal though! With an eye to compete in the CrossFit Games as a Masters athlete in 2020, she has been a constant source of inspiration in the gym. Brandon also recently completed her CrossFit Level One certification and is more motivated than ever! Congratulations Brandon!
