CLASSES
BARBELL CONDITIONING
All Levels Welcome
A class focused on mostly barbell exercises to strengthen and condition the musculoskeletal system, improve balance and stability, and improve the cardiovascular system. Each class will consist of up to 3 components: skill acquisition, strength training, and high intensity conditioning.

Barbell Lifting: Squats (air squat, front squat, overhead squat, back squat), deadlifts, strict press, push press, bent rows and more

Pull-ups/chin-ups, handstand progressions, push-ups, sit-ups, jumps, and other Gymnastics: body weight movements

Cardiovascular Training + Other Strength Tools: Kettlebell swings and exercises, dumbbell snatches and exercises, wall balls, assault bike, rowing, skipping, lunges etc.
JUMPSTART HIIT
ALL LEVELS WELCOME
An Early Riser Strength and HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) class. HIIT is a fast-paced training method used to help you gain cardiovascular and muscular endurance and power. Jumpstart sessions are generally comprised of a progressive warm-up, a daily strength component then followed by intervals of short, high-intensity exercise separated by medium intensity exercises or rests for recovery, then a cool down period at the end of the session.
Each class will utilize a combination of some of Forge's favourite training tools, not limited to the prowler sled, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, battle ropes, and more.
Don't be intimidated, however - this class is open to all levels from beginner to pro and will be scaled to your specific needs and fitness.
STRENGTH FUNDAMENTALS
All Levels Welcome
Build the fundamentals of strength through the classic barbell lifts: squat, bench and deadlift, as well as accessory lifts such as the strict press, bent over row, dumbbell movements, and more!. Taught by our very own Team Canada athlete - Adam Keenan. This is a pure strength class so there's isn't a cardio component however, you're still guaranteed to get a good sweat going!

Educational series focused on breaking down fundamental gym movements such as the squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press, pulling, pushing, twisting, conditioning, how to program a workout, and more!

This class will occur on a drop-in basis with a focus on a different movement each week.
