"I came to the Forge about three years ago for many reasons. I wanted to inspire my three teenage kids, fight back against aging, and explore taking up more physical space in the world. My first step was to attend the 5:30 a.m. HIIT classes and to measure success by attendance alone - not by body weight or performance. Despite being hugely intimidated by the other side, I chatted with Tina about finding a trainer. Shout out to Lindsey, who has been a fantastic teacher and supporter every step of the way, from helping me figure out where depth is in a squat (where is that again?) to prepping me for my first two powerlifting competitions. My current goals include starting to work with Johnson in prep for the Vic Barbell Open and then the National powerlifting championships next year! (I'd love to conquer a muscle-up, too.)"
